Sock Monkey FIRST Birthday Party

Preston's FIRST Birthday Party! I am pleased to say that everything that was done here only took approximately 2 weeks to plan. I got the stickers off of BirthdayExpress and I picked up the straws at The Southern Women's Christmas Show in CLT. My mom did the food and Auntie Laura did the Cupcakes. I took care of all of the details, supplies, art table, and his personal cake. The cake was absolutely NOT what I wanted but I didn't have time to make another! I was pleased with how this turned out. Not too shabby for a stay at home mom who is the least creative human out there!

Blueberry and Banana Muffins

Do you have a bunch of bananas that are about to go bad? Mush them up and add them to a package of blueberry muffins. The bananas make the muffins super moist and they make a nice combination with the blueberries. Lily loved these!

Quick meals for a busy mom....

There are endless possibilities to cooking! My crock pot has become my best friend! I have been researching recipes and have found some amazing meals that are delightfully quick to make! We have made lemon garlic chicken and honey bbq chicken. I have not made many artsy things lately. I allowed myself to become overwhelmed by life. I made a tree painting and some paintings for the bathroom. I will upload pictures soon.

Cake Pops!

I have created cake pops for two separate occasions.  One was for my daughter's 2nd birthday and the other was for my boyfriends mother (She turned 50).  The cake pops are not difficult to make! It is just a very long process!

Sweet little feet

My sweet girl is growing so fast! She had a photo shoot this weekend. This picture just touches my heart. She had so much fun running around barefoot BUT when it came down to it.... she thought that her dirty feet were, "ewww, nasty". The way she says it is priceless and I can not get enough of it. I used Picasa to edit this photo. It is black and white with a focal point. Also, my sweet girl LOVES to show affection with her feet (like her mom!). She will rub her feet all over you just to show you she is there and that she cares. I do the same thing! She is my little mini when it comes to personality and habits! She does have some of her daddy's traits too though! I just love little feet!!
